HUBZone Headquarters, Inc. (HUBZone HQ) was founded on 13 JUN 2012 as a HUBZone-certified defense contracting small business with its headquarters office located in Virginia Beach, VA.
The SBA established the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program in 1998 to help small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. These preferences go to small businesses that maintain a “principal office” in a HUBZone, and by employing a percentage of staff who live in a HUBZone.
Since “HUBZone” is part of our firm’s name, we do SBA HUBZone compliance the right way.

HUBZone HQ’s Commercial Services Division creates jobs for HUBZone residents to provide commercial business services.

HUBZone HQ received its initial SBA HUBZone certification on 31 JAN 2013, and was awarded its first defense contract on 25 AUG 2014.
From 2014-2019, HUBZone HQ continued to build corporate capabilities through Navy subcontracting.
On 3 DEC 2018, HUBZone HQ won its first DOD prime contract (SeaPort NxG IDIQ MAC).
On 4 OCT 2019, HUBZone HQ was ranked as #10 on the 2019 Washington Fast 50 list of the fifty fastest growing small businesses in the US government market sector.
HUBZone HQ also ranked as the 2nd fastest growing management consulting firm and the 1st fastest growing HUBZone firm.
On 01 JAN 2020, HUBZone HQ acquired DOTMLPFI, Inc.’s NATO market segment and created HUBZone HQ’s DOTMLPFI Division. This acquisition doubled the size of HUBZone HQ and added new capabilities to its existing service offerings.
On 14 APR 2020, HUBZone HQ won its 1st NATO prime contract (also the DOTLMPFI Division’s 37th NATO win) to provide full stack IT system development services.
HUBZone HQ’s current business footprint consists of 65% prime contracting and 35% subcontracting. The firm’s triple digit growth continues in 2020 with annual revenue projected to top $3M.
